The Medical Center of the Royal Commission at Yanbu could renew the recognition of the International Joint Committee (JCI) as a health organization working in accordance with the international systems and standards for the third time successfully. The renewal of such recognition comes as a completion of the march of the RC at Yanbu as well as a coronation of the continues efforts for developing the health services at MYAS in harmony with the RC strategic plan aiming at providing quality services that place the RC cities among the distinctive cities which provide various services to the community. JCI delegation spent five days for assessment of all medical, technical and administrative services. At the end of the visit, the delegation appreciated the best efforts made by medical officials and workers to promote the level of service provided, and to empower the health services program for international accreditation for the third consecutive time. The RCMC was granted, after the final meeting held for result decelerating, the accreditation for the 3rd consecutive time for a period from 2016-2019 with a result of 98.90% announced by HE Eng. Hamed Sibaih, DG, General Services. The qualified work team of health services program doctors, administrators and technicians, under the instructions of the RC officials made great efforts to ensure the application of the required quality and safety standards. The health agencies and organizations work hard to obtain JCI Accreditation to be in line with the standards of the best hospitals in the world due to JCI assessment process, which includes all medical administrative and technical aspects. The health services program in Yanbu obtained Accreditation twice in 2009 and 2013, and now for the third consecutive time in 2016 in order to keep promoting the health services in MYAS through provision of comprehensive, feasible and high quality community health care.
