The Concluding Ceremony for the Holy Quran Memorization Society at MYAS

In the presence of Engr. Saud bin Eidha Al Malki, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Royal Commission at Yanbu, Sheikh Dr. Khaled Ali Al Ghamdi, the Imam and Khateeb of the Holy Mosque, and Sheikh Omar Hussein, the Chairman of the General Court at Yanbu, the Holy Quran Memorization Society “Yatloon” at Madinat Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah held its annual ceremony last night to honor seventeen (17) male and female memorizers along with other distinctive students and teachers.

The ceremony started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the Society’s speech given by Engr. Hasan Asiri, “Yatloon” Society Manager. Engr. Asiri spoke about the Society accomplishments, hopes, and challenges. A documentary film was thereafter displayed introducing the Society from its establishment till now. After the documentary ended, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Royal Commission at Yanbu, Engr. Saud bin Eidha Al- Malki launched the (30 - 30) project which aims to produce distinguishable memorizers through the contributions of philanthropists. The audience listened again to the Holy Quran recited by one of the Society’s students.

The annual report was then presented to depict the Society achievements and the activities throughout the year. Later, Sheikh Khaled Ali Al Ghamdi launched the “Wakf Fund” to provide financial stability to support Quran memorization circles through Wakf projects. The audience afterwards listened to a beautiful recitation by one of the memorizers of this year. The ceremony was concluded by honoring the distinctive students and teachers.​
